Two newly formed U10 girls teams -- the CNY-New Hartford Bobcats from New York, and Unionville, from the Philadelphia area -- battled for the Pony Tail title Sunday in Baltimore, with the Bobcats taking the championship cup, 3-1 in an exciting tournament finale.

The U12 Quakers, who lost to the Quarry Cats in the opening round of the Pony Tail, topped the New Jersey team, 7-1, Sunday afternoon in Baltimore to win the 7th Annual Pony Tail U12A division championship.

The Hatfield Ice Angels rolled to victory in the seven-team U16/19 Division of the Pony Tail, defeating the Rapids U16 Blue, 9-1. Earlier, Susquehanna had defeated the Nassau Wildfire, 7-6, in a shootout semifinal to advance to the championship game.
